Power of your reading glasses approximately calculator based on age

Damn! Every year I get older from 40, I need stronger $6 reading glasses from the dollar store!

Age & Mag: 41 = 0.25; 42 = 0.50; 43 = 0.75; 44 = 1.00; 45 = 1.25; 46-50 = 1.50; 51-52 = 1.75; 53-55 = 2.00; 56-60 = 2.25; 61+ = 2.50

My prescription says ADD +1.75 and Spherical +0.50; & Cylindrical +0.75 at 40 degrees Right Eye & +1.00 at 160 degrees Left Eye

I can't see much of anything but blur more than 4 feet out with these reading glasses. They're meant to read things at less than 2' out.

My $6 cheapie reading glasses won't let me read as close up, but I can still focus on my computer monitor (2') & TV (8') quite well.

I have gone from 1.25 to 1.50 to now 1.75 with the reading glasses over the last few years. Yes, my eyes ARE getting way worse by the month!

Without glasses, the computer screen is a complete blur but the TV is fine.

The distance of blurriness without glasses keeps extending. It started with a foot or less, then 18" or less, now it's gotta be 2' or less.
