President Obama releases Certificate of Live Birth.

I told you TF was going apeshit earlier!
You've GOT To Be Kidding Me (Birth Certificate) http://tinyurl.com/5uu7hd4

I found a different way to view the certificate for the rest of us (read: majority of us)... who don't have Photoshop type programs. All you need is Windows Paint (or the Mac equivalent). View the birth certificate right on the whitehouse.gov site (URL below) (http://www.whitehouse.gov/sites/default/files/rss_viewer/birth-certifica...) Select the "image" by left clicking it and then right-click it to access the copy image menu (or you may use Control+C as a shortcut instead). Paste the copied "image" into Windows Paint. The image that appears in Paint shows the certificate with MOST OF THE TEXT MISSING and many areas that appear to be touched up... parts of signatures, letters, numbers, etc. Why is the text missing? Why would only parts of signatures show up? What kind of image would display correctly in the Adobe Reader and have virtually all the pertinent text missing from the image when it's pasted into a different program that's used to view images? My guess?... the image has been modified. WHY? Considering all of the "Birther" questions that have been raised, why on earth would the Whitehouse publish something like this and have no explanation of the modifications? Wouldn't a simple UNTOUCHED jpg image have settled the issue once and for all? Perhaps one of you photo editing geniuses can clear this up.

Trump Takes Credit for Release of Obama Birth Certificate

Donald Trump, in Portsmouth, N.H., on Wednesday, said he was Matthew Cavanaugh/Getty Images Donald Trump, in Portsmouth, N.H., on Wednesday, said he was “honored” to have helped settle the question of President Obama’s citizenship — “hopefully.”
PORTSMOUTH, N.H. — Donald Trump arrived here Wednesday morning, stepped off a helicopter emblazoned with his name and flashed a wide smile as he took credit for the release of President Obama’s long-form birth certificate.
“Today, I’m very proud of myself because I’ve accomplished something that nobody else has been able to accomplish,” Mr. Trump told reporters who gathered in an airport hangar. “I am really honored, frankly, to have played such a big role in hopefully getting rid of this issue.”
Mr. Trump, the billionaire businessman and television entertainer who is flirting with whether to seek the Republican presidential nomination, was making his first visit to New Hampshire, the site of the first primary of the 2012 campaign. He said he would make his decision known before June.
His arrival here in New Hampshire set up a made-for-television split screen. Mr. Trump stood before a bank of cameras outside Portsmouth, just as the president was set to speak from the White House. Mr. Trump answered questions for nearly 30 minutes in a combative and jovial fashion that has become familiar to viewers of his hit show, “The Apprentice” and “The Celebrity Apprentice,” on NBC.
Mr. Trump has flashed his presidential aspirations before: in 1988 (as a Democrat) and in 1999 (as a Reform Party candidate). But he has gained considerable attention in recent weeks for questioning the authenticity of the president’s citizenship. He said he would not drop the matter until the birth certificate was validated by independent experts.
“He should have done it a long time ago,” Mr. Trump said. “Why he didn’t do it when the Clintons asked for it? We have to look at it. We have to see is it real? Is it proper? But I hope it checks out.”
Mr. Trump, who has repeatedly raised questions about the president’s birth certificate, said he hoped the conversation would shift to more serious matters like trade relations with China, high gas prices and the sluggish economy.
“I know how to make money — I’ve always known how to make money,” Mr. Trump said. “This country is broke.”
As his news conference reached the end, a black stretch limousine pulled up behind him, and members of his entourage signaled that it was time for him to go. Mr. Trump turned away and boarded a three-car motorcade, declining to answer a question about the president’s remarks.

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- President Obama released his original birth certificate Wednesday, saying the controversy surrounding the issue had become a "sideshow."

"We do not have time for this kind of silliness. We've got better stuff to do," said Obama.

The surprise release follows recent and sustained remarks by businessman Donald Trump, among others, that raised doubts as to whether the president was born in the United States.

"Over the last two and half years, I have watched with amusement. I have been puzzled with the degree with which this thing just kept going," Obama told reporters Wednesday.

Speaking to reporters Wednesday, Trump said, "I have accomplished something nobody else has accomplished."

"I want to look at it, but I hope it's true," he added. "He should have done it a long time ago. I am really honored to have played such a big role in hopefully getting rid of this issue."

Earlier Wednesday, White House Communications Director Dan Pfeiffer said the debate has been "really bad for the Republican Party."

The so-called "birther" debate is "good politics" but "bad for the country," said Pfeiffer.

White House spokesman Jay Carney is expected to speak more about the birth certificate Wednesday morning.

In an interview with CNN's Anderson Cooper Monday, Trump repeated his doubts and said he had been told the certificate was "missing."

A new CNN investigation revealed earlier this week what most analysts have been saying since the "birther" controversy erupted during the 2008 presidential campaign: Obama was born in Hawaii on August 4, 1961.

While the president has made light of the controversy, the question remained political red meat for some of his critics. A recent CNN/Opinion Research Corp. poll showed that nearly 75% of Americans believe Obama was definitely or probably born in the United States. More than four in 10 Republicans, however, believe he probably or definitely was not born in America.

The U.S. Constitution says only "natural born" citizens can become president - a vague clause that some members of the birther movement contend disqualifies Obama because, they insist, he was born outside the United States.

Skeptics contend, among other things, that Obama was born in his father's home country of Kenya.
